Welcome to fourteeners.org . . . one man's (that would be me) perspective on the Colorado 14er's (14,000 ft. peaks), including info on trails, gear, environmental impact, and lots more! And as of late August 2008, the Grand Slam has been completed, meaning all 54 peaks have now been summited!!

Latest Conditions>> It's summertime here in Colorado as we push into August. There's little snow to be had, and plenty of warm temperatures. But with that also comes the standard pattern of afternoon thunderstorms, often severe above treeline. Watch the forecasts and be SAFE!

Climb update>> Finally -- Denali pics and part of the trip report are up -- much more to get through editing though. Summer pushes on, as does the climbing season and trail-maintenance season! Had a great hike on Pikes a couple weeks back and last week was fortunately enough to work with CFI on some work on Grays. Coming up later this month...a trip over to Yale!

More climbing to come later in the summer and fall. And hopefully some catch-up on the website!
