Welcome to fourteeners.org . . . one man's (that would be me) perspective on the Colorado 14er's (14,000 ft. peaks), including info on trails, gear, environmental impact, and lots more! And as of late August '08, the Grand Slam has been completed, meaning all 54 peaks have now been summited!!

Latest Conditions>> Deep in the winter season, the conditions in the mountains are as treacherous and unpredictable as possible. Brutal and dangerous cold temperatures and wind chills on top of blizzard conditions, whiteouts and avalanche potential. If you're venturing out, be prepared and climb safe!
Climb update>> Merry Christmas everyone! Haven't been out on the 14ers in the last few weeks due to the weather conditions, but been out in the wilderness anyways, field-testing a new pack, boot liners and sleeping back in preparation for Aconcagua...departure in just two weeks! This weekend there will hopefully be one last climb of 2008, but we'll see if the weather cooperates. Here's to a fantastic '09!!
