Latest Conditions>> Ah, summertime in the Rockies! This year there is a suprising amount of late-season snow, which adds just one more variable into the climbing equation. So beware not only of midday thunderstorms and electrical activity, but also the potential for dangerous cornices or steep runouts.  And more subtly, don't underestimate the reflective power of snow on a sunny day. Let's get that sunscreen going, people! Be prepared and climb safe!
Climb update>> Nice little zip up Sherman today, from Iowa Gulch. Highly recommended as an alternative to the standard route. Climbing season (wll, my season) is now in full swing. Next week is Quandary, and Sunlight, Windom and Eolus are coming up. Stay tuned for a full fall of climbs!
